Kaivo is a semi-modular software synthesizer that combines two powerful ways of making a sound: granular synthesis and physical modeling. This is for a natural (or uncanny) sense of space, pleasing interactions between voices, and a ton of expressive potential, all traits in short supply in digital synthesis.
